The wedding of Kim and Larry at Ye Olde Plough House
It was a real pleasure to be asked by Kim and Larry to record their wedding at Ye Olde Plough House,
This great venue is located just outside Brentwood and has some amazing grounds for the photos.
Our day started with me meeting up with Kim and the bridal party at Ye Olde Plough House.
Its was a bright and cold day, but the girls were great and we got a few photos outside before the boys were due to arrive.
We had time for a little fun before everyone had to get dressed, thanks to all the girls for being great sports.
One of the great moments to capture is when the bride (Kim) puts on the dress for the first time and then we bring Dad in to see his beautiful daughter.
Nick (the second photographer) met up with Larry and the boys as they arrived.
Its always a great moment for the bride to see at a later date and often something that can be missed.
It was then only a very short drive for Kim to come to the main reception to meet the registrar’s before the ceremony.
With two photographers we were able to capture all the details of Kim’s arrival in the ceremony room and the touching moments during the ceremony.
After the ceremony and a few reception drinks we took the opportunity to use the confetti
Then making the most of the fading light (always something we need to plan for winter weddings) by taking the Bride and Groom for a few photos in the stunning grounds.
Ye Olde Plough House has its own snow machine, which is always a lot of fun and allows us to get some great winter feeling images.
The venue looked amazing with some lovely flowers along with a great cake – based on the Eiffel Tower, something close to both of them.
After the speeches we had time for a few group photos and the all important cake cutting.
Before the first dance kim wanted to throw her bouquet.
Which is always a lot of fun and the ‘Scrum’ develops.
The evening finished for us with a bit of fun with some sparklers.
At the end of this blog is a link to a short slideshow of some of the images from the day and a link to all the proof images, but you will need that all important password.
